I don't really beilieve in christmas but its fun to chop down your own tree.Nat and I went to this town by the Clackamas River called Carver today to chop down our x-mas tree for the first time. I saw this guy at the farmers market in downtown Long Beach about ten years ago playing acustic gutair. Been a fan ever since, in fact I still have the tape I bought from him and his lyric sheet. This video must have been filmed when he was way younger then when I saw him. And I guess there is a movie about him now called "I want to Destroy America". The trailer is the next video.

So John and Tricia were in the northwest last week and aside from all of the BBQ's and booze we managed to make it out to the coast and visited Astoria. While we were there we visited the Columbia River Maritime Museum . Its a pretty nice place if you are ever in Astoria.
